Leisure as seen by Stibs

This is a picture of me right before I went out on a cruise. I like to drive my Honda CRX aimlessly around the city. I like driving a lot because it's a way to get away from work, school, or whatever bothers me at that point in time. This picture shows me in a comfortable state. Leisure to me is the opposite of work, it's a time where the only thing one should remember is to breathe and blink and relax.

Personal definition of leisure!

This spring break, I went to New York, since many of my high school friends live there. This is a picture I took when I was standing right in the middle of Times Square. There were many sight-seers, whom I am a part of, and many important-looking people in formal clothes. Because I grew up in a busy environment, I feel a sense of belonging in this particular scene. I define leisure as relaxation people get when they feel a sense of belonging, a complete blend.

This is picture of me driving. I like drive around to different places. I'm from Minnesota, and there are a lot of places to drive around, such as lakes in Minnesota! I like seeing different things along the road, especially in Illinois, since there are a lot of fields. Because I like to drive around with no destination, I enjoy traveling in my free time and that is the definition of leisure for me.

This is a picture of me and my friends relaxing by a bonfire in Michigan. During the summer, I really enjoy going up to my lake house for the weekend. It is enjoyable because it helps me get away from my busy schedule and my work week. This picture represents leisure for me because sitting by a bonfire with my friends is something I love to do with my free time. Also, it helps me relax, unwind, and spend time with my close friends.

This is a picture of me sledding with my family in Pittsburgh. It represents leisure for me because it was a time I was on vacation and had nothing to do besides do things I chose to make me feel relaxed, and sledding was one of those things. I was feeling in a state of leisure because I didn't have to worry about anything else, and was enjoying myself. My definition of leisure is being able to relax and not having to worry about anything else.

This is a picture of me swimming. I went to the local pool and swam as a leisure activity. I used be a competitive swimmer in high school and continue to practice because it has become a part of me. It allows me to relax and let all my stresses loose in the pool. Leisure to me is an activity that brings you joy and pleasure.

It represents relaxation cause in the picture I'm just chilling and having some hot wings without having to stress about school or other things. It means a lot to me because everyone needs those times to just let go and enjoy life. To me, leisure is where you get away from the troubles and stress of life, school, and work and just enjoy yourself.

This is me and my friends at the beach. I like to go to the beach when I am on spring break. It is a great way to relax and have fun with friends. Being at the beach gives me a sense of relaxation while I can tan and go swimming with my friends. I think leisure is letting go of all work duties and other responsibilities and allowing oneself to relax.
